Along the Road

This one of my favourite photos from my trip to Japan late last year. I took this shot in Osaka on my last night out shooting. I walked all this way down some highway hoping to get a clear shot of the rest of the city off in the distance but I never got the angle I was after. So I looked a little closer at my surroundings and shot this image of a building next to a rubbish furnace. I really like the strong geometry and colours. I had to wait quite a while to get a long exposure without traffic but it was definitely worth it.

Cloud Series

     I created this series of images a while ago using maya particles to help create the base shape for the cloud. This was then composited in photoshop with a bunch of natural spray pattern elements that I had photographed. The series is the same particle cloud shown from different angles.  

Finches

 This is a picture I found in a book about Finches which I decided to personalise with a little old skool doodling.  

Remote Remix 1

 

 This illustration is the result of a 2 hour remix with Brecon (also from remote). He worked on some elements for an hour then handed them over to me. Nice to see what you can come up with without a client locking you to a brief.
